A few days ago, Nanjing Electric Insulator Company received the ISO9001:2015 Quality Management System certificate which is issued by SGS China company, this symbolized our insulator company’s new quality management system passed the audit of world famous certification group and it’s also the first time for Nanjing Electric to get the international certification.

    SGS was established in 1878, is the world's largest and most qualified third-party non-governmental third party company which works on product quality management and technical appraisal. It headquarter locates in Geneva and it has 1000 branches and professional labs around the world. It started services in China in 1991. Because it’s the first time for Nanjing Electric quality management system to be audited in SGS, SGS was very concerned and arranged pre-audit, first audit and second audit, three time audits in total.

    Pre-audit and first audit mainly aimed to assure the compliance of insulator company QMS and ISO9001:2015, the capability of compliant laws, regulations and contract requests, the capability of reasonable expectation, settled goal achievement and appropriate industry improvement. To evaluate the overall level of internal review, planning and execution of management review and the implementation of quality management system, get feedback to continue improvements.

    At the end of July, 3 experts of SGS started the second audit to our QMS, on the basis of confirming rectification measures that failed to meet the requirements of the previous two audits, it also released two minor inconsistent report which focus on the planning and control of product design and operation, the control of externally supplied products and services, the maintenance of infrastructure, the provision of production and service delivery of products and services, incoming inspection and warehouse management, measurement and management of monitoring and measurement resources, control of documented information, personnel competence and awareness, knowledge management, internal audit and management review (including on-site audit).

    In early August, after insulator company completed two minor nonconformity rectification work required by the report, the audit team confirmed the rectification measures in a timely manner and submitted the relevant materials for certification audit to SGS (Switzerland). After strictly reviewing the materials submitted by the audit team, SGS (China SGS) formally approved the issuance of ISO9001: 2015 Quality Management System Certification of Nanjing Electric Insulator Co., Ltd. on August 7, 2017.
